Square-edged products
The trimmed goods in the MÜNCHINGER solid wood range include carefully selected, high-quality block goods that have already been cut to defined dimensions. These include finished trimmed glazing bead blanks, which provide a precise basis for further processing steps.
The goods are available in their original, unaltered form and are strictly tested in accordance with quality and dimensional specifications. As they have already been trimmed, they are particularly suitable for applications that require immediate and efficient further processing.
Wood types for Square-edged products
Pine – lat. Pinus sylvestris (PNSY)
In principle flawless, artificially dried. Also available with FSC® or PEFC certificate!
Oregon Pine – lat. Pseudotsuga menziesii (PSMN)
Unedged, kiln dried, cutted in our mill. Also available with PEFC certificate!
Hemlock – lat. Tsuga heterophylla (TSHT)
Premium resp. clears 85/15, kiln dried. Also available with PEFC certificate!
Eucalyptus Globulus – lat. Eucalyptus globulus (EUGL)
Weight 850 kg+, v. g./semi v. g., parallel edged, small sound knots and mirrors as by E. Globulus from Galicia usual, kiln dried. Also available with FSC® or PEFC certificate!
American White Oak – lat. Quercus spp. (QCXE, QCXA)
FAS 80/20, 10/15 % narrows/shorts to go along with, measurement green prior kd, kiln dried.

Meranti – lat. Shorea spp. (SHDR, SHLR)
Weight 450 kg+, re-graded material, uniform colour, select and better accord. to MGR 1984, kiln dried, uniform colour, only from high quality supplier. Also with PEFC-certificate available!
ACCOYA® – lat. modified Pinus radiata
Accoya® cover plies with a thickness of at least 22 mm, falling structure, strong colour variations and batten stripes that are typical for Accoya® cannot be excluded and do not justify complaints; suitable for opaque coating (outdoors!) Accsys recommends all parts, such as screws and hardware, that have contact with the wood and the remaining vinegar acid in the wood are made of stainless steel. The plies are glued with PU adhesive; no finish planing is applied after gluing. (PU adhesive might escape at the edges!) Available as pure Accoya® scantling or combined with pine or spruce, in rifts/half rifts.
