MÜNCHINGER Historicline

The Historicline window scantling was designed for applications that require a combination of historical design principles and modern material performance. The structural focus is on the weatherboard, which is made from a solid piece of ACCOYA® and has no glue joints. This provides optimum protection against moisture, deformation and colour changes in the area of the window most exposed to the weather.

The outer layer of Historicline consists of continuous ACCOYA® with a minimum thickness of 56 mm. Material-typical appearances such as colour differences or slat stripes are possible, but do not affect dimensional stability or durability. For opaque exterior coatings, Accsys recommends the use of stainless steel fasteners or fittings that may come into contact with residual acetic acid.

The middle layers consist of pine or spruce, each in vertical or semi vertical grain quality. The outer middle layer is made from sections at least 70 cm long and wedged to D4, while the large-area connection is made with PU adhesive. Depending on the dimensions, the window scantling is available in two or three-layer versions. After gluing, the product is not planed to preserve the original material structure.
