MÜNCHINGER energyline

The energyline scantling combines high-quality cover layers made from selected wood types with a heat-insulating core made from e-foam. At the core of the energyline scantling is a high-density insulating material that reduces the thermal conductivity of the entire construction and has a lambda value of 0.04 W/mK. It is butt-jointed in individual lengths of 2.15 m. The outer contour is formed by a real wood edge banding that is finger-jointed on one side. Continuous lamellas are also available on request.

The cover layers of the window scantlings are glued with PU adhesive as standard and can be individually configured in terms of wood type. The result is a high-performance scantling profile that combines structural stability with improved thermal insulation.

Variability and possible applications

The energyline allows for a flexible combination of different types of wood and can thus be adapted to different building physics requirements. The combination of an insulating core, laminated wood layers or, optionally, Accoya cover layers creates a profile that is particularly suitable for energy-optimised window constructions.

The energyline is characterised by its stability, dimensional accuracy and thermal efficiency, making it the ideal solution for projects that require durable and technically sophisticated timber profiles.
