Door scantlings with multiplex core
Standard gluing with D4 adhesive in accordance with EN 204. Top layers with a minimum thickness of 21/24 mm throughout (depending on the type of wood), multiplex board with side edging in the same wood type as the top layers (24–30 mm in thickness and width), edging available in continuous or finger-jointed design, multiple gluing.
Wood types for front door frames with multiplex core
Pine – lat. Pinus sylvestris (PNSY)
Basically flawless, rifts/half rifts, multi-glued with D4 glue as per EN 204, block profile, kiln-dried. Also available with FSC® or PEFC certificate!
American White Oak – lat. Quercus spp. (QCXE, QCXA)
Natural colour variations as well as sapwood portions cannot be excluded also on exposed surfaces; multi-glued with D4 glue as per EN 204, block profile, kiln-dried. Also available with FSC® or PEFC certificate!
Meranti – lat. Shorea spp. (SHDR, SHLR)
Bulk density 450 kg+, multi-glued with D4 glue as per EN 204, block profile, kiln-dried, available lengths: 3.00 m and more. Also available with PEFC certificate!
